Transformation outside of doing our own time, no man can boast or initiate this. Self help can get me where I want to go.
We can barely see it, it is almost impossible to feel it. But like a seed planted deep the truth will be exposed, only revealed after the passing of time. Maybe in an instant we see but there is only ever before and after, a work we could never claim as our own.
We will one day, hopefully later today, maybe sometime tomorrow stop and realize there was life we never nurtured or caused to grow. This life springs up at the words of Jesus, this Man who is perfect and beautiful to behold. Salvation is always His work, a gift He generously gives to all. He swore this as His life’s work, we are just living in His artistic process as see witness His true work unfold.
So what can a canvas say to its painter? What right does a masterpiece have in the direction of His creator’s intention? Rather it sits still, surrenders and experiences the hands and expertise of the masters perfect expression, and perfect vision to bring about the story only He can know.
